Ana Popovic’s new three creations will be something in blues life. A new album “Trilogy” by Ana Popovich will be released on May 20th. 3 albums at once, 25 tracks totaled up, entirely new creations! Each is dedicated to her core genres – blues, jazz and funk. Each disk contains ‘dear guest’, for example, Joe Bonamassa, Robert Randolph and Ivan Neville.
“These genres have a common source in large part,” says Ana.
Popovic will take part in the ‘Experience Hendrix guitar’ mobile annual show popular in the USA with Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Zakk Wylde, apart from the fact that she had her own separate touring plans.
Ana Popovic is the embodiment of cognitive dissonance. Firstly, it is accustomed to see the Americans, not the girls from Belgrade among the global blues artists. Secondly, not every day you can meet a lady in evening dress, who takes up the guitar and performs successful compositions confidently one by one. Thirdly, frankly speaking, not every girl in blues manages to collect so many music awards and release an album that would have entered the Billboard chart top five.
