Avicii – the Swedish DJ and producer who shared with us such tracks as Levels, Wake Me Up and Hey Brother has made a decision that playing shows and touring is no longer for him.

The electronic music singer, the real name Tim Bergling is only 26-years-old apparently has had plenty of touring as he declared last night to his fans that he will live the music and all live shows after finishing the final run this year.

Swedish DJ has made a striking statement through his official website.

The nasty news is that electronic star is to stop performing live after his 2016 concerts, yet on the positive side of things he will be doing a show in Dubai this week at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Avicii, the Grammy winner and the highly recognized DJ sent the EDM (Electronic Dance Music) local community into great shock when he declared on Tuesday that he would be ceasing from touring and stop performing.

The declaration of Avicii’s retirement from music, which he revealed in a sincere note to fans, has triggered different feelings on social media.
