Pop diva Anastacia has hold off two concerts in Switzerland after getting a throat infection.
The popular singer had planned concerts at Zurich’s Kongresshaus venue on April 11 and Lausanne’s Théâtre de Beaulieu on April 12, however has been pushed to postpone so as to rest her voice.
An announcement shared on the star’s official website advised the gigs would be moved at a later date.

“Due to being diagnosed with a throat infection Anastacia has been ordered by the Doctor to have vocal rest for the next 4 days,” according to the statement. “This will sadly impact the Zurich show scheduled on the 11th April and the Lausanne show on the 12th. Anastacia is broken with the thought of letting her fans down and claims that these concerts will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity.”
During her career the pop star, complete name Anastacia Newkirk has struggled several health issues.
The 47-year-old has dealt with the chronic stomach condition Crohn’s Disease since she was a teen and had breast cancer in 2003.
In 2013, her breast cancer came back in a more severe form, though later that year she declared she was cancer free and had been subject to a dual mastectomy.
As outlined by her website, a statement on the rescheduling of Anastacia’s tour dates will be provided later this week.
