Drake to release next album on April 29th. Views From The 6 will be Drake’s fourth studio album, and his first since 2013’s Nothing Was The Same.
In January this year Drake confirmed that the long-awaited album would be released in April. However, at the time, he refused to give an exact date.
The two new songs – “Pop Style” featuring The Throne (Kanye West and Jay Z) and “One Dance” featuring Wizkid and Kyla – will be included into the new album. Views From The 6 will primarily be presented on Apple Music and iTunes, as part of the rapper’s deal with the company.
“I tried to create a real-life album, the sound for your city. There are many songs. You will have music by Drake for the whole summer and the whole year. And indeed for life “, – the musician admitted in a OVO Sound Radio radio program broadcast.
Drake recalls his colleague Kanye West in his arrogance who also referred to his seventh work as “his lifetime project”, but in the end he had reissued it several times and did not received the expected profit.
A half-minute promotional video went online in support of the longplay.
