In spite of announcing in March her projects to take a long break from music caused by her breakup with Doug Poynter, Ellie Goulding will surprise the world with yet one more buzzworthy collaboration before leaving from the musical industry.
In a latest interview with The Guardian, the singer revealed that she and longtime collaborator Calvin Harris have registered a new track.
The two have already worked together on the popular singles “I Need Your Love” and “Outside,” which together own approximately a billion views on YouTube. After “Outside” was released on Harris’ 2014 Motion, the electronic star has stayed fairly quiet apart from launching his hit single “How Deep Is Your Love” with Disciples, but it looks Harris is ready for new music, and a brand new Ellie Goulding collaboration is proved to be in the progress.
Ellie Goulding also confirmed in the interview that the new single will feature a new vocalist, who is male – however, she added is not Justin Bieber.
“That’s all you’re getting,” Goulding said.
