Lil’ Kim has canceled her appointed performance at the Essence Festival. She was expected to perform with P. Diddy and his Bad Boy team at the New Orleans show, however has been compelled to cancel at the last minute.
“It’s with much regret that we announce that multi-platinum selling recording artist, Lil’ Kim will not be performing with Puff Daddy and Her Family at this year’s Essence Music Festival due to unfilled business obligations. She’s saddened by this news but matters are not within her control. Lil’ Kim would like to thank Essence for the opportunity and her fans for their continued support of the starts brand and looks forward to being at next year’s Essence Music Festival in 2017,” star’s representative states.
P. Diddy and his Family as well as Faith Evans and French Montana are still anticipated to perform at the Essence. The show is going to other supers stars as Mariah Carey and Kendrick Lamar while Oprah Winfrey and Al Sharpton will present the show.
Although canceling the weekend show, the hip- hop singer is still planned to go with Diddy at the Bad Boy Reunion Tour this August.
“Lil’ Kim will keep on to produce more music so stay tuned for more as it’s Lil’ Kim Season,” the hip-hop singer’s representative adds.
