Britney Spears has officially declared that she is going to perform at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on August 28. She will offer her fans the first live performance of her new track “Make Me” from the future ninth studio album “Glory”. This performance will mark pop singer’s come back to the VMAs stage after nine years.
MTV proved Spears’ performance right after days of rumors that she would open the VMAs after she stopped her two “Piece of Me” concerts.
In a short video promoting Spears’ performance, the pop singer states in voiceover while a python is noticed slithering through her dressing room.
“The VMAs don’t just give you a stage, they give you a story. Some way of taking a fraction of a second and making it live forever. Before you know it, its history. Before you know it, it’s Britney, b***h,” Britney Spears states.
The snake is a kind of a throwback to her 2001 “I’m a Slave 4 U” performance at the annual award show where the singer danced with a python.
