The British DJ and producer Duke Dumont published two new songs “Be Here” and “Worship” at “Soundcloud”, both of which will feature on the fourth part of his For Club Play Only series (out on August 1 via Defected Records).
“Be Here” premiered as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World while the latter track made it on Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune playlist.
“After four/five years of doing what I’ve been doing at the moment, ‘Club Play Only’ is my bread and butter,” he told. “I still love dance music.”
“‘For Club Play Only’ is music played in the club. It’s that simple. Blasé Boys Club EPs is me writing pop music. And both things I try to do the best I possibly can.”
The tracks are premiere records from BBC Radio 1. It is not clear whether at least one of the novelties becomes single.
The latest single of Duke “Ocean Drive” has been released in July last year and managed to reach the first position of “US Dance Club Songs”.
Recall that earlier past month Duke Dumont expressed his wish to create a single for Katy Perry.
“I 100 per cent would love to get back in the studio with Katy Perry for a single. I think we could switch things up a little more for the next record. Who knows what we could do?” Dumont said.
