Drake is going to Europe for “The Boy Meets World Tour” in 2017. The European tour is appointed to start on January 21, 2017, at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and will finish at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne on March 16, 2017.
Tickets for “The Boy Meets World Tour” will be available for sale starting October 14. The new tour comes after Drake’s North American “The Summer Sixteen Tour” which is also started in support of “Views” album.
Drake was forced to postpone the leftover three dates of his “Summer Sixteen” tour, as well as two shows at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on October 11 and 12, along with an October 15 concert in Newark, as a result of his ankle injury.
“Drake suffered a severe ankle injury during the tour which he did his best to power through. By doing this, he made his injury worse. Under doctors orders and to ensure Drake only ever gives fans the performances they deserve, he will be postponing the remaining 3 dates of his “Summer Sixteen” tour to allow him time to recuperate his ankle injury. Drake’s fans mean the world to him. Seeing their faces and performing his music for them is what he loves to do the most and he can’t wait to get back on stage,” singer’s representative stated.
The hip-hop singer has performed over 50 concerts during his “Summer Sixteen Tour”.
